Currently, we’re in the process of working on vetting and dialog punch-up on a number of sketch comedy concepts. Below is a list of potential sketch ideas, as well as a brief synopsis. Our goal is to turn this list of ideas into fully viral short films. We will be adding new projects to the list as they become available, so please stay tuned. Below is a list of concept titles currently being considered, just to give you a little insight as to what we are working on. As the details for these concepts become available, we will add that information here.


What would Genghis Khan Do?

This concept brings Genghis Khan back to life, in a modern-day interview with the man who helped put Mongolia on the map. The short features a single actor as Genghis Khan and is shot on a green screen or white infinity background. The actor is dressed in full Genghis Khan apparel and fashions a sword, as well. We ask Genghis Khan a series of 3 questions about anything and everything, pertaining to such subjects as social issues, politics, trending topics, technology, history and beyond.


Failure & Failure

Genre: Comedy
Est. Runtime: 1:30 min.
Actors: 2

This concept is a commercial about a company aptly named “Failure & Failure,” which specializes in the art of failing. They have a comprehensive program that helps individuals excel at failing. They teach you all the options of failing and leave no stone unturned. The short is shot much like an ambulance-chasing lawyer commercial. A complete solicitation. Single camera on a green screen.


Skyped Dating

This concept is about a foreign couple, separated by a great distance as well as a language barrier. The good new is they are living in the age of technology, and decide to leverage the Internet to do online video dating. The catch is, they have a lousy network connection. This is shot using a single camera and will appear like a direct screen capture of a video chatting experience.


Swords
Content Type: Serial (Commercial)
Genre: Comedy

Actors: 6+

This concept is a commercial about a reality television series that never actually airs. Simply put, it’s just one giant teaser. It revolves around a group of individuals who specialize in the art of swords. Find out what it’s like to be all geeked-out on swords. From “the family that swords together” to getting kicked out of social spots because of the sword. Each commercial is an episode, and over time, characters will be given a chance for further development.


Detectives

This concept is a buddy detective story about 2 white individuals who grew up in low-income housing, in a prominently all-black neighborhood, developing a vernacular and cadence reminiscent of the urban streets; most commonly referred to as “ghetto talk”. These 2 detectives find themselves dealing with the streets in a very direct and somewhat disrespectful way, often confusing their assailants as well as disappointing their Captain, who is an upright, award-winning, law enforcer.


Jesus Reincarnate

This concept is about the story of Jesus Christ returning to Earth to be a man. All Jesus wants is to live a life without all of the attention. Jesus manages a local White Castle restaurant. Everyday, he tries to play down the “God Complex”, but everyone knows that he is Jesus because he is eternally burdened by a glowing halo. He is constantly asked to perform miracles, but tries his best to steer people in their own direction. At the end of the day, he continues to save others and pull off miracles, but never takes credit for it – always throwing the credit towards individuals who need the boost to their own egos.


Work Furlough

This concept is about the “Work Furlough” system. It feature an array of individuals, from the jail-house deputies to the incarcerated and their lawyers, friends and family members. It focuses on the stigma of being incarcerated, while having the privilege of being released for work. You get an inside look at what it’s like to deal with an ankle-monitoring device, as well as the relationships that get fostered while one is locked up.
